TON Foundation Denies UAE Golden Visa Program Involvement
The TON Foundation has clarified that it has no official role in a proposed UAE Golden Visa program linked to Toncoin staking. A premature announcement on social media suggested holders could secure residency by locking up $100,000 worth of TON for three years—a claim the foundation now calls unauthorized.
"No governmental endorsement exists," the foundation stated, emphasizing that any future program WOULD require full approval from UAE authorities. The retraction follows Telegram CEO Pavel Durov's amplification of the initial claim, which sparked widespread community speculation.
